British summertime weather is quite temperamental. You might beswelteringon the bus or needing a raincoat for your walk home. It’strickyto know, so usually I’ll have abackpackwith me when Igo out with all the necessarybits and bobsSun cream, an umbrella, and a jumper!

Iburnvery easily so I am veryscrupulouswhen I put on my sun cream. If I want toget a tan whenI'm away, I spend at least 30 minutes putting the cream on and then willlie flatto catch some rayswith a good book. Usually I will besplashing aroundin the pool after an hour. Then the process starts again!

Tomorrow my boyfriend and some of our friends aretaking outa boat for his birthday. His sister iscooking upa salmon and several delicious salads for us. It should be lovely though I amstrugglingto decide what to wear as it’s predicted to be a bitchilly. No matter what,I’ll have both mysunniesand my waterproof. Anyway, if you have a glass of Pimmsin your hand it’s always summer!
